About Big Has

Hasan Semay, known affectionately as Big Has, is a bold and talented chef and YouTube personality hailing from North London. After leaving school and experimenting with various jobs—from plumbing to security—Has found his calling in the professional kitchens of London. His journey took an extraordinary turn when he was selected for Jamie Oliver's esteemed "15" programme in 2011, turbo-charging his deep-seated passion and talent for cooking. HOME marks his inaugural cookbook, a heartfelt tribute to the flavours, locales, and individuals that have shaped his remarkable journey to date.
